Our stay at Currarevagh House was simply unforgettable! The setting on the shores of Lough Corrib is breathtaking and perfect for a peaceful retreat. Our room was spacious, and while the bathroom could use a little updating, the comfort of the bed made up for it. Dining was a highlight, with outstanding meals every evening, although the set menu might not suit everyone. The hospitality we received from Henry and his family made us feel right at home. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for the experience offered!

Currarevagh House is a charming retreat right on the shores of Lake Corrib, surrounded by stunning scenery. The rooms have a lovely old-world feel, but some may find the decor a bit tired. Service was overall warm and welcoming, though there were moments of confusion. Dining can be quite delightful, especially if you enjoy a set menu, but it might not suit everyone. Value for money is decent considering the unique experience you receive, despite a few hiccups.

My stay at Currarevagh House was absolutely delightful, full of genuine Irish hospitality and stunning views. The location by Lough Corrib is peaceful and beautiful, perfect for relaxation or exploration. The plush atmosphere of the guesthouse is enriched by the warm hospitality of Henry and his family. While I'd recommend staying longer to soak it all in, the dining truly stands out and shouldn't be missed, especially Henry's delightful cakes. A minor consideration is that it might be best to plan your activities, as some guests might prefer to stay and enjoy the property more.
